The Next Hundred Public Health Stewards training started in September 2021. So far, we have trained 5 cohorts of stewards, giving rise to the need to have an Alumni network. The maiden edition of The Next Hundred Public Health Stewards Alumni reunion took place on the 2nd-3rd December 2022. This event brought together all the past stewards, creating opportunities for networking and sharing ideas among the stewards.

Highlights of the event were the impactful lectures delivered by keynote speakers as well as the brainstorming sessions among the stewards on the public health projects to be executed in collaboration with CHESIDS.

Some National Youth Service Corps members from the National Agency for the control of AIDS (NACA) were invited to the event to gain insights about the objectives of CHESIDS and the TNH initiative. According to them, it was an eye-opening experience, which exposed them to various career opportunities in the public health space.
