The Next Hundred Women Empowered: Maternal and Household Nutrition Program

This program was aimed at creating awareness on the key aspects of maternal health, including the significance of prenatal care, postnatal care, and the role of proper nutrition. It was also aimed at providing insights into the significance of prenatal and postnatal care, emphasising the need for early and consistent healthcare uptake both before, during and after pregnancy.

The key activity for this program was the awareness session conducted within the primary healthcare facility where a health professional, Dr Ezimma Obue spoke to and interacted with the target beneficiaries emphasising their role in enhancing their nutrition, wellness of a woman and the importance of eating well and attaining a proper diet.
