Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM)

We promote healthy practices during menstruation and facilitate access to affordable and sustainable sanitary products by training in-school girls and adolescents in making sustainable reusable sanitary towels.

The Next Hundred Menstrual Hygiene Management Program 2024

CHESIDS organized a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Day in the FCT to address challenges surrounding menstruation in schools. The initiative educated secondary school students on menstrual hygiene, debunked myths, and promoted a supportive environment.

It aimed to raise awareness about menstruation and reproductive health, challenge stigma, and encourage open discussions. The program included 50 girls and 43 boys to foster understanding and create a more supportive environment for addressing menstrual hygiene issues.
