Ending preventable sickness and death among women and children

The high rate of morbidity and mortality among women and children in Nigeria is a great public health challenge that CHESIDS aims to solve by ending preventable illnesses and deaths among these populations.

Our objective is to increase awareness and uptake of childhood vaccine-preventable illnesses and increase knowledge and access to information and services regarding women’s health and well-being through health promotion campaigns, advocacy, and implementation of health programs.
