CHESIDS in collaboration with Options Consultancy Services and a Communications Expert held a workshop designed to empower young professionals to develop their personal and professional brands by leveraging the power of impactful storytelling. The initiative aimed to enhance participants' awareness, knowledge, and skills in strategic communication, emphasising the critical role of storytelling in branding, leadership and change management.
The target audience included young professionals from diverse fields, as well as CHESIDS staff, with the goal of equipping them to craft and communicate compelling brand narratives effectively.
The program's focus was a hybrid strategic communications workshop hosted at Options Consultancy Services. Led by a seasoned communications expert and TEDx speaker, Olufunke M. Olufon.
Key findings from the program highlighted the enthusiasm and level of engagement of participants which was evaluated from the results of the two (2) live pulse checks carried out during the course of the workshop.
The energy and dedication exhibited throughout the workshop underscored the importance of this initiative to building one's professional brand. All planned activities were successfully executed, demonstrating the program’s value in fostering professional growth and enhancing storytelling capabilities.
